• ·         监测方式

• ·         排放报告核验者的身份信息

EU MRV Regulation Entering Next Phase *Update*

As part of the European Union’s action to tackle greenhouse gas emissions from shipping, the EU MRV Regulation requires shipowners and operators to monitor, report and verify CO2 emissions from their vessels calling at EU ports.

A new milestone is approaching. By 30 June of each year, starting 2019, companies must ensure that all their ships that have performed activities in the previous reporting period and are visiting ports in the European Economic Area (EEA) carry on board a MRV Document of Compliance (DoC) issued by THETIS MRV. The DoC must then be readily available on board for inspection by EU member states.

The DoC can be download from THETIS following the submission of an emissions report that has been verified by an accredited body, such as Class.

Also from 30 June 2019, ship specific CO2 data for all vessels that made an EU call in 2018 will be made available for public access at https://mrv.emsa.europa.eu/#public/emission-report.

This data includes:

•     ships’ name, IMO identification number and port of registry 

•     ship efficiency (EEDI or EIV, where applicable)

•     annual CO2 emissions 

•     annual fuel consumption for voyages 

•     annual average fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per distance travelled of voyages

•     annual average fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per distance travelled and cargo carried on voyages  

•     annual total time spent at sea in voyages 

•     method applied for monitoring 

•     date of issue and the expiry date of the DoC  

•     identity of the verifier that assessed the emissions report.
