南非——局势动乱影响港口运营

南非德班、理查兹湾及周边地区的暴力骚乱导致港口运营延误。

北英保赔协会的通代Shepstone & Wylie分享了南非动乱的相关进展如下：

引发动乱和骚乱的原因是有人抗议前总统Jacob Zuma因藐视法院而被监禁。由于动乱，公共交通已经暂停，导致港口工作人员无法前往工作地点，从而影响了德班和理查德贝港的港口运营。

位于德班的P&I Associates (Pty) Ltd进一步报告，南非政府已要求民众留在家中，道路网络目前已经关闭，并有关于往来德班和约翰内斯堡运输货物的卡车受袭的报道。

Violent unrest in the cities of Durban and Richards Bay and surrounding areas in KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa, is leading to delays in port operations.

Shepstone & Wylie advise that the civil unrest and rioting is in protest against the imprisonment of former president Jacob Zuma for contempt of the Constitutional Court. As a result, public transport has been suspended, leading to port staff unable to travel to work, therefore affecting port operations at Durban and Richards Bay.

P&I Associates (Pty) Ltd in Durban further advise that the South African government has asked people to remain at home and that road networks are currently closed, with reports of trucks carrying cargo between Durban and Johannesburg being attacked.
